From scary to sacred.

You have a desire to create something beautiful in your life. A big, beautiful desire.

Your heart warms when you think about it. And you may even feel the twinkle in your sacral chakra that says YES.

It’s the warm twinkle of what you love.

And when you love and honor that desire, you will decide that you will have it.

You will move Heaven and Earth to get it. Come hell or high water.

Because you believe it is there for you. And so it will be.

But, wait, you say- what is this about hell and high water?

Does that scare you?

Are you scared that you might not be able to handle it?

Are you scared to do what you have never done before?

Are you scared that you don’t know how?

Are you scared of what might happen?

And is what you desire starting to lose its luster and have you wondering if you want it after all?

You gotta love this. Really.

Because your desires contain your precious gems- the gems of getting to know what you love and what you fear.

They contain the sacred AND the scared that blocks the sacred.

And when you see the scared, do not shame yourself. Do not judge yourself.

Celebrate instead.

Because your scared is the signposts that is showing you what is blocking your path to your highest self. Your genius.

And when your highest self still says YES to your desires, you get to look your scared in the eye with compassion and say, “I’ve got this. I don’t know how to do this yet. But all I need to know is out there waiting to serve me, and I will find it.”

Then you get to clear your path to the sacred- what your highest good loves and desires for you.

And, with your scared moved to the side, the magical companion of love and desire appears beside you.

That companion is Curiosity. My favorite.
